Colour Correction

The recent warm weather brought out lots of bright colours, and I was going to do a post in kind, but now that the sun has receded somewhat, and rain is threatening for later in the week, I decided to revert to a more realistic April colour scheme. There are a couple of bright bits - note the lipstick, and nail varnish, but it would be a lie to claim that I generally stray far away from the neutral aesthetic of black, camel and grey.

April Grazia.

I know everyone must get Grazia/get a chance to see Grazia but I had to post these from the issue that came out today because they happened to particularly catch my eye. I love the styling, love the lighting, love the model (her face has so much expression) and I love the white and greens which are really fresh. The 1st and 5th images are like my dream outfits.

SECRET DANGER TONIGHT.

If you fancy coming down to moustache bar tonight watch out for me and Katie with our cameras capturing all the fun!

This is what Ollie and John say about what they do...

"We spend the evening fleshing out a backbone of House, Disco and Techno with whatever oddities, unclassics, classics, secret danger re-imaginings, and flavours of the month that we feel like. Ollie on the warm-up and John from midnight-ish through till the end.

Turn up nice n early if you can: bedroom favourites, weird shit and entrance cava. Plus always nice to have a chat ...before it gets rammed so come up and say hi. Happy Hour runs until 10.30."

Sinead Evans.

One of my friends from back home in Manchester has made 300 individually screen-printed album sleeves for the band CYMBALS. See how good they look on sale at Saturday's performance at The Victory on Kingsland Road!

She also designed these lovely blue and orange posters for The Secret Danger Society's monthly night at Moustache bar.
